Iratta, a highly anticipated Malayalam family thriller drama, hit the big screens on February 03, 2023. However, just a few hours after its official release, the full movie was leaked online by piracy websites. The film was directed by Rohit M G Krishnan and produced by Joju George, Martin Prakkat, and Sijo Vadakkan.
The star-studded cast includes Anjali, Srindaa, Arya Salim, Abhija Sivakala, and others. The full HD download link of Iratta was uploaded on several illegal websites, with Filmyzilla being identified as the source of the leak. Websites such as 1Tamilmv, iBomma, Tamilblasters, Kuttymovies, and Isaimini, known for their illicit activities, also shared the download links in multiple resolutions through their Telegram channels.
Unfortunately, Iratta was not the only movie affected by piracy on February 3, 2023. Faraaz, Premadesam, Bommai Nayagi, The Great Indian Kitchen, and Michael also suffered the same fate. The activities of torrent websites are a constant threat to the hard work of artists and the theater business. Despite efforts by Cybercrime to curb piracy, illegal websites keep finding alternative domains to continue their illegal activities.
We strongly advise against downloading or sharing copyrighted content as it is a serious offense punishable by the Indian Government with a three-year prison sentence and a fine of ten lakh rupees.
