Arya Rajendran is an Indian Politician and Student who is become the youngest girl to serve as a Mayor of Thiruvananthapuram Corporation at the age of 21. Arya is currently doing a BSc in Maths at the All Saints College in Thiruvananthapuram. She won as Councillor from Mudavanmukal ward of Thiruvananthapuram corporation at the 2020 Kerala local body elections. She later appointed as a Mayor of Thiruvananthapuram Corporation.

Arya Rajendran Early Life
Arya Rajendran(Mayor) was born on 12 January 1999 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. She is just 21 years old as of 2020. She did her schooling at Carmel Girls Higher Secondary School, Trivandrum. She is currently doing a BSc in Maths at the All Saints College in Thiruvananthapuram. Her father’s name is Rajendran who is an electrician and Her mother’s name is Sreelatha who is working as a Lic Agent.

Political Career
Arya Rajendran is a Student and Mayor of Thiruvananthapuram district. She elected as a Major of Thiruvananthapuram district by defeating UDF candidate Sreekala by 2872 votes. She is the state president of Bala Sangham while she was in College. Bala Sangham is a Children Welfare organization in India. She has also a State Committee Member of the Student Federation of India and also serves as CPI(M)’s area committee member at Chala.
Arya Rajendran’s political Party name is the Communist Party of India (Marxist). On December 25, 2020, She broke the record of Devendra Fadnavis, The opposition leader in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly by being the Youngest Major in India. In before, Devendra Fadnavis has held the record of youngest Major in India at the age of 27.
